Just listen and enjoy. To much analyzing is quite annoying. The boys are great. Some off notes makes it better. Rosemont rocks glad I can hear it here cause I sure dont remember most of it. I was there. probably about 30th show on way to about 100. Till 1990 then I needed a break. Got back into it an Jon with the wolf rock. The dead is immortal. So is this band.peace

1st Set: Jack opens up this remote, low-treble dirty recording. Besides the increasingly thunderous drumming, the boys appear content to allow Jerry to storm his way through. West LA pokes its way through semi-compelling territory. Mama has some nice high-pitched Jerry cries. River keeps us within the serio-Western mood. The performances are fine but this recording doesnt crackle and ends up adding to my monotonous mood. I seemed to guess Althea from a mile away. This recording is akin to being at the arena but having to listen to the show behind a thick curtain. Masterpiece is passable. Bird appears to reach some climaxes, but its hard to tell with this sound. Jerry lets it rip during a satisfying Promised.
2nd Set: Everyone can get their Phil during Box, even if this, along with most late 80 versions, sound drearily similiar. Iko has a nice boost of energy. They segue right into something Estimated. Both this and Eyes feature stunning solo lines by Jerry though this audio makes it impossible for anyone to extract joy from these proceedings. What is that Caddyshackesque voices during the first minute of Drums? Space proceeds as it does. The Wheel is standard but Brents got extra oomph during Gimme. Im so about to give up on this source. The playing throughout Black is fine, but its not noteworthy. Throwing is nicely executed as well NFA is.
Im sorry for the downward slide into nothingness but after hearing this file, even Black Muddy River would be refreshing.
