drove back home from the Rosemont shows and crashed hard only to wake up and see 3 feet of snow and the show was cancelled. thankfully it was not this night because i had 2nd row, front and center. GDTS had given me the same seat 3 years in a row!!!
love the crowds reaction in Brown Eyed Women to the "snowed so hard" line. Bobby spit on me during Throwing Stones!
first and should have been the last I Fought The Law.
fun show, soooo cold out, but i got to sleep in my own bed.
they broadcast this on WMMS also, so there is a crisp FM show of this

The shows before these was in chicago ,tickets were so hard to come by, It was so cold up in chicago then I headed down to the Richfield shows and it started snowing real bad. After the 2nd nite show we stayed at the H Inn on a hallway floor. A real weird scene as all the heads were welcome to come into the hotel because of the snow.

Being within 65 miles of Cleavland ( a little closer to Richfield), we got in the 82 Mustang and drove up the first night of the two nights (doing about 35-40 mph on the turn pike) as we were getting ready to exit Ohio T.P. we heard the show was canceled, we stayed for a few hours and partied at Barney Google's @ the Holiday Inn. After witnessing a VW Bus getting pealed open like the jaws of life done it (the accident happened right in front of our eyes, poor dude's bus was ripped open & pealed back), we left and returned for this night of the 2. After all the anxiety and stress involved with the first nights drive, this show was so right on (it may have just been the agonizing anticipation).
P.S. We did get the offer of a refund of our first nights tickets price (we took the option of the Nassaue replacement tickets for April 1). Worked out well got the Long Island 4/1-4/2 shows in, great memories all of it.
P.P.S. The dude with the pealed bus was @ the 4/1-4/2 shows also, we stopped and talked about the wreck and us being right there behind him (his bus was still a mess and now had a picture window, made of plastic).

Oh March 13 1993 the show that never happen. The weather the first nite was brutal at this show.I will never forget tryn to find a motel and my dude that was driving hadnt had much experience driving in the snow like that.He had us all on a ride belive this.We ended up doing two 360*S on the icy road and then we where facing straight ahead again and made it out of the what seemed like a endless spin.We where totaly freaked but ok. Now this happen in oncoming traffic. We found a room for the nite and ROCKED the next nite.I still have my ticket from the first nite in fact i have it framed he he.

I too will never forget this night. I DROVE from Pittsburgh to this venue, I fav of mine back in the day. IT took 9 hours. Now those who don't know that from PGH to Cleveland is 3 maybe 4 hours can see the difficulty my friends and I had getting here, only to have the first show cancelled; we would follow snow plows down the interstate so we had some clear sailing. It was an amazing experience even to be at this show. Terrapin was awesome. Fun time in the snow.

I will never forget this show as long as I live. I just flew home to Cleveland from Las vegas to see the show the previous night ..well that night was snowed out/postponed. I found out on the radio as I was getting off the freeway near the venue. I spent the night with friends at the Pilgrim Inn nearby Richfield and we partied hard. This show was the follwing night. There seemed to be alot of energy with the frustrated crowd.I have been to better shows sound wise but it was a FUN night... a GREAT time. Shout out to Barry. Erin we had fun and you are my special girl forever.
