XD
I was at this show, and pretty close to the stage. I saw this amusing interaction between Bobby and Jerry during the segue between China and Ryder. Jerry was jamming along, and Bobby kept signaling to him via body language, etc., that maybe it was time to start getting into Ryder. Jerry kept ignoring him, and Bobby kept getting more visibly annoyed, and the cycle continued. It was hilarious!!!!

Summer 93'
Nice pair of shows to end a solid tour that might not have had alot of killer shows. But on a song by song basis some killer performances. T The last summer that Jerry performed at a high level also the last tour I ever did. Great Show. Hornsby certainly inspired some strong playing. Only downside is he is on Accordian. Good thing he is low in the mix. Every song in the first set is well played with lots of enthusiasim. 2 set is very good really good China Rider -Great Saint (although nowhere near is hot a Kentucky which is Epic) UJB is probably my Favorite post 89 performance. Jerrys opening notes are great. Vince piano is very classy.(Seriously, I wish he would have stuck to the piano sound more often because he really is a hell of a player) The extened solo in middle is awsome Weir drives this version the whole way through with fantastic riffs. The final Jam is amazing the boys are clicking on all cylinders. Another gem out of 93' I notice Im not alone in saying this year 93' deserves its due. I wounder if anyone in the GD organization agrees. Would love to see a View From the Vault DVD from the summer or a Dicks Pick acknowledge Jerrys powerful yet brief resurgence.

My friends first
Of of my best friends first shows. Thanks to us for the previous 10 years, he knew all the songs. Nice to have a SBD of this. Really well played. Bobbys voice was hurting because of those polyps, but they pulled trough. Classic nice first bus trip for him. Jammin Cumberland in Set II, Classic Second set China>Rider>Saint>UJB. Good time had by all. Except my one friend who took his party favor too late and during the Weight said. shits kicking in, we we like, GREAT. Made for a fun nite.
