very enjoyable show. not a huge fan of the post hornsby dead but this was a nice little 3 day run.
i mostly wish to point out a few minor problems you will have with this download, nothing major however.
first off, the track labled china cat sunflower also includes the i know you rider portion of the show. they are shared here as one track. the track titled i know you rider is actually Corinna. the included text file does not accurately list the contents of the set. it omits the first track which is tuning, does not show china/rider as being 1 file and doesn't list corrina as being played. i would not let any of these minor oversights prevent you from getting this one tho if you are looking for a good dead show from this period.

This show was featured on GDH as the fall tour highlight...If I remember correctly David played Little Red Rooster and the China-> Rider.Jerry had a superb night at this one and nailed all his lyric's. The Jack Straw opener and TLEO were
scorchers...Ramble On Rose tempo is so rockin' and Black Throated Wind was a real treat aswell. Every body was in a good mood which was a rare thing in the ninety's. Phil, what a monster on this night.
The second set continued with the same energy opening with China-> Rider but oh Uncle John's Band, I thought I was watching the dead in 73. When the lyric's ended Jerry turned around and walked straight back to his stacks behind him and started pushing his gutar into them, dragging his pick on the strings. He didn't turn to face the crowd again, he just walked off when drums started. The Attic's was also very nicely done and NFA was incredible, I was surprised Heart and Bill didn't break skins on this one.

I remember (vaguely) this one. My 22nd birfday, high on needlepoint and no ride home. Everything worked out awesome night great show, everyone left cuyahoga more than satisfied. The 1st night rocked, 2nd softer to recoup and the 3rd filled what couldn't fit on the 8th or 1st night. Happy to add to the collection. Always a bonus to land a show you attended and remember as above average. Thank you archive!

If you are seeking the dead at their rocking best, where Jerry just goes off and off and off, where the crowd is another member of the band, and even Vince is rollin' bones, you can't beat this night! I was there, and can tell you that after fifty shows, I thought I was going to lose my mind at Richfield. Those who have seen the Dead at Richfield Coliseum, know that the acoustics were always great there. What energy! Attics! Audience recordings don't get much better. This show is a must have.

This was the best show of Richfield 1993. I wish this was a sbd! The first set is solid with a great Bertha to close the set. The second set is tight and closes with Attics into NFA. The US Blues encore was a nice treat as well. I gave this show a 3 because of the AUD copy. SBD could get a 5 with good quality.
