Cold but Interesting
A fairly dispassionate survey of atomic bomb destruction at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The title says this documentary was created in 1975 but the film itself gives the date as 1947. It's in poor condition, fuzzy and washed out. Interestingly, the film concentrates almost exclusively on blast effects to buildings, factories, buses, etc, but virtually nothing is said of the effect on the people. Only numbers of dead and injured are given, and no views of people suffering from radiation burns are shown. Still, if you've ever wanted to know the effects our atomic bombs had at the end of the Pacific war, this is a good place to start.
