Harold Lloyd
A tip to this generation of movie buffs - discover Harold Lloyd! His final film is a goodbye to a physical comedian who broke performed high wire comedy, literally. His early silents are out on DvD and are priceless ( hanging from the arm of a clock stories up from the ground realtime! " safety last " } if you enjoy early 20th century screwball antics and slapstick Lloyd set the standard. Diddlebock is a nice farewell to one of the greatest.

One of my all time favorites
The description given is good, sort of.
This version of the film is the one Howard Hughes mutilated. So it's not as good as the original.
But still, it's very funny.
Later Danny Kaye made a much worse remake.
The movie itself is very clever in a number of ways due to the genius of the star and director; too factoids to go into.
Watch it and see if you don't like it.
