An unnumbered, hand-colored plate bound in after the title leaf, featuring frogs and other creatures frolicking in front of an inscribed marble fragment reading "Admiranda tibi levium spectacula rerum" (excerpted from Vergil's Georgics, book 4), was designed by Rösel and engraved by Tyroff. The plates were designed and engraved by Rösel
The engraved head-pieces were designed by Rösel, Preissler, and Harrich, and engraved by Heuman, Tyroff, Rösel, Mechel, and Joninger
