...but not as out there as the other reviewer would lead you to believe. Since there are a lot of guests, JFJO plays a lot more straight-forward backbeat oriented stuff than usual. Get something from '01 with Matt Edwards or something from summer/late '02 or '03 for some really hair-raising stuff. Still, this is a decent show that is worth hearing. FYI, the last track is "Muskogee Smalls," not "Grub Ridge Stomp."

Subject: wild late-night noise-fest
solid sound for a fairly out-there jfjo show. audience is a little chatty at times, but isn't that always the case? this recording definately captures the vibe of the show - which was a ball of fun. listen to the 33 minute nibbles the squirrel and compare that with anything from the yoshi's shows a couple months earlier, and it's apparent that these guys can cover the map as well as anyone.
