we also had Dave Nelson Band, Max Creek, Zoopy Funk and locals. Bill Vitt showed up unexpectedly and asked if it was cool if he played drums with LOM :-)

This show was actually on a private farm, not at Elijah Bristow.(anyone remember the Shake and Bakes?) I seem to remember it was going to be at E.B. but the permits didn't get in in time, so it was moved to this site. There was a stage set up on one end of a huge field. There was a rise in the middle of the field and on this rise, a teepee was set up. There were some food and craft vendors set up, as well. This was an event called the Human Calendar. It was a weekend long festival with Legion of Mary and a bunch of other bands which I cannot remember now.
There were very few people in attendance, perhaps 500 folks. We figured it was due to a Phish show, and if I recall right, another festival (Tribal Stomp, maybe.) It was freezing cold by the time Steve and the boys came on. But the show was HOT!!! Check out Portland 9-9-99, the night before also. I always wished this incarnation of Kimock's bands would have stuck around longer.....

obscure show with LOTS of energy. Kimock is ON tonight and it very evident from the first song. The PONR is absolutely mind blowing....even with Ray's endless blabber...
