Subject: Wow from Moe to TAB
Subject: Wow from Moe to TAB
First off, what a wonderful recording, so much FUN to listen to. Second, I have been to this park dozens of times and visited almost all the other great festival venues in the country, nothing and I mean nothing touches the side stage that Moe. played at. This amphitheater under the trees with tons of room to dance and hang ranks as my favorite and from the sound of it Moe's also (listen to comments after second song). Moe put on my favorite show of the weekend (I am somewhat biased though) and they killed it. The Pueblo song was awesome with even a few Allmanish sound riffs at the 10:30 mark. Look forward to hearing this song more often. To be able to walk from this show 500 yards to TAB with the sun going down was beyond sick. Wanee, thanx for ten great years.

Very clean sounding AUD, thanks so much Scott!
As the previous poster said, track four is:
Silver Sun > Puebla
The Rec Chem is great, Puebla is probably my favorite "new" song and this is a solid version, though not as cool as one from their 2nd week in Europe (exact date escapes me).
Mexico shreds as well, must have been a great afternoon-feeling jam.
You can tell the band is fired up post-Europe and have a lot of confidence. Very solid set that builds upon itself like so many good moe. sets do.
FYI, there's a small cut in the tape around the 3min mark of Buster.

What jet lag? Just step on to the stage after a twenty hour flight in a small plane, pick up your instruments and shred.
Thanks to Scott for the taping. The Rec Chem is just great; Al's central lead simply WAILS. The third song is not Puebla, however. It is Al's masterpiece, Silver Sun. I am so happy that they have given it a prominent position in their set rotation. This version develops nicely, well, the song has such great potential. If you love the song, as I do, you MUST check out the 2011-07-20 version from ArtPark in Lewiston.
Puebla is the fourth song. And after Not Coming Down, it is (of course) no huddle into Wormwood.
