Special, special, special.
I remember feeling the outside walls shake during their rehearsal.
Place completely let go of all anxiousness with the Rainy Day Women opener. The band seemed to grow wings and never touched down on solid ground until every note was crafted complete.
The Q was just breaking out some fresh material that would later be on There & Back Again. No More Do I was hushed and intense while Night of 1000 stars was so perfect since this night coincided with an awesome meteor shower. Driving home was difficult with flashing streaks shooting across the sky.
Tight & wonderful from front to back. The Unbroken outro by Warren was a complete triumph with band members fully man-hugging after almost every tune was finished.
I did see 9 GD shows back in the day but this band during this stretch is STILL the most talented cosmic conduit I've ever heard. Just have a listen...
