Title page has a period in between "common and "wealth"; hyphen is substituted in title transcription
"The reformed Virginian silk-worm", p. [3-6], 40, 3rd and 4th counts, has separate dated title page, pagination, and signatures with imprint: London: Printed by John Streater, for Giles Calvert at the Black-Spread-Eagle at the west-end of Pauls, 1655. It was apparently also issued separately (Wing H1000)
"The reformed Virginian silk-worm" first issued under title: Glory be to God on high, peace on earth, good will amongst men. A rare and new discovery of a speedy way, and easie means, found out by a young lady in England, she having made full proofe thereof in May, anno 1652, London, 1652
Gives mention of the prickly-pear in the Summer Islands [i.e. Bermuda], a berry & stinging flies in New England, and several fishing companies
Signatures: A² B-I⁴ (D1 missigned C) chi1 (chi verso blank) ²A-²E⁴ (²A1 verso blank) ²F²
