Notes
Steve Kimock - Guitars
Rodney Holmes - Drums
Mitch Stein - Guitars
Alphonso Johnson - Bass
-Fades added at start and end of sets.
-Dithering from 24bit > 16bit with Apogee's UV22HR Algorythm.
-Resampled from 96kHz > 44.1kHz in WaveLab 4.0
-The 24bit/96kHz version of this seed is also available.
Flaws:
-There is some minor clipping during the bass solo during Set 2 Track 3 (Arf She Cried). The levels appeared to have been turned up at the console fairly significantly. A slight gain adjustment was made on the fly accordingly by the taper to avoid further clipping.

This is a perfect example of a New Year's Show in that the band continues to get better and better as the night moves forward into "next" year -- each composition being performed with more energy and focus than the last. A short but sweet IU2U to start things off leads into what is possibly one of the shortest Experiments I've come across. Tangled Hangers, in my opinion, is where this show really lifts off and it doesn't look back from there. Five B4 Funk builds on that energy, and Moon People in turn builds on that, etc..
Post Bell Ringing, Hugs, Kisses, and Champagne Drinking, you have an absolutely raging Avalon. Perhaps the best version in this month. Cole's is well done, with Steve playing a run of triplets in the final third of the piece that is really quite impressive in its technical bravura. Again, the energy just continues to build through Sabertooth, Ice Cream, LFP1, and Hillbillies.
Little Wing is Little Wing. Never disappointing, and standing in the crowd that night, one knew it was coming. But You're The One was unexpected, and is perhaps the song of the show (along with Avalon). Mitch's solo is outstanding, and one wonders where he got the energy to see us out into the Denver night remembering all that came before.
Show is an easy A in performance. Sound quality is in the B to B+ range. Great show!
