This item consists of the field notes of Frank Smith from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in September and October of 1966 on Howland Island, Baker Island, and Enderbury Island. Field notes describe Smith's activities collecting birds, obtaining blood and vomit samples, banding birds, and conducting nest counts. Smith also collected some lizards. Also included is a species list with numbers F.N.26164-F.N.2482 (numbers are not in ascending order). The list includes physical descriptions, measurements, and some geographic coordinates
