This folder contains graphs of bathythermograph (BT) data and related documents for Southern Island Cruises (SIC) on the Pacific Ocean in 1966 and 1967. Naming conventions vary among the documents: some have SIC numbers, some are titled with the name of the vessel, and some have both. One set of hand-drawn graphs plots BT data from Shearwater cruises 12 and 13, SIC 14-16, and Granville Hall and U.S.S. George Eastman cruises. Each sheet includes graphs of various data (surface temperature, surface salinity, isotherm depth, and depth of mixed layer) by latitude for one cruise or legs of one cruise. A computer printout includes graphs of the same variables for legs of cruise 12. One set of graphs plots the depth of the 2∞ isotherm by latitude for Shearwater cruises 11, 13, and 14 and SIC 15 and 16 from January to December 1966. Computer data entry sheets and a corresponding computer printout tabulate BT data for SIC 18, collected March 1 - April 28, 1967. Two sets of graphs, one set for 1966 and one set for 1967, plot BT temperature, surface salinity, thermocline, and isotherm depths over time for squares 1-16. Squares are located between 2∞ S to 2∞ N and 175∞ to 179∞ W. The folder also contains copies of BT cards with numbers between 1 and 243 and maps of the routes of the Granville Hall and U.S.S. George Eastman cruises
