Notes
OM Trio opened
second set with Joshua Redman on saxophones
^ with Ilya Stemkovsky (OM Trio) on percussion
** bluesy breakdown jam
Tracking Notes:
If you would like to keep the beginning of the Redman set intact, you can move Professor Wormbog to Disc 2 and then start a 3rd disc with d2t07 (merch banter). I felt it was worth putting Wormbog on Disc 1 to make it a two-disc show.

What an Insane Time this was. If you ever been to the Funk Box (Once again the 8X10 Club) you can imagine how packed thay stage was with Redman up there. One of my favorite Intimate Venue's to see a show at.

What a treat it must have been to be there for this one. But frankly, the sound quality here is so good, I'm not sure this isn't the better listening experience. UM are so inventive and tight with their complex arrangements, and adding Redman to the pot is tasty.

I couldn't fit the Disc 2 on 1 disc. I cut track 9 right after the thank you's. It cut off a little over a minute and it fit.

the fact that you're reading this means that you don't already have this show. Any self respecting UM fan or fan of improvised music in general needs to grab this show. This union of UM and Redman will surely not be the last time their paths cross. So grab this best of their 4 show run now and curl up next to it. It may become your new best friend.

This is the best source I have heard for this show. It really was sweet. I haven't heard too many other UM sources overall that are this good. Its hard to believe that anyone can give this less than 4 stars. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if it is a bad one ;) Seriously, this is an excellent source with a very full sound.

just thought i would drop a line and say while wilson made a great mix, there are some very hot moments at points on the tape, especially the vocals sounding quite harsh on several occassions. its all well and good to run your levels hot, but running hot and through a compressor are another story and i think brownings standard matrix sounds much better.

I'm new to Umphrey's and was reccomended this show since I had listen to Redman before hearing them. I must say that this show is amazing. The second set is great with Redman.

Great show. The jam out of FF has got to be one the best I've heard. Great sound quality and interesting second set with Redman.

I want more! Unique first set, and the Redman set is full of highlights after he gets warmed up. Wife Soup is the reason to download this show!!!

"Wilson Matrix": Soundboard > Behringer DSP-8024 (@18.1 milliseconds delay) + Neumann KM-140's (fob/dfc/sweet spot) > DBX-386 tube pre-amp > Mackie 1402VLZ > T.C. Electronics "Triple C" StereoDigital Multiband Compressor + A/D Converter > Midiman 2496 "Audiophile" soundcard @24/44.1 > Digital workstaion @533MHz > SoundForge 6.0 > CDWave > MKW
Umphrey's had it's regular matrix setup this night, but this is a separate matrix that Wilson set up himself. It came out great!
