Notes
Source: SBD (Mono 1/4" Out) > Sony WM-D6C (Line In)
Analog to Digital Transfer: Master cassette playback
on same Sony WM-D6C (Line Out) > Phillips 765CDR >
EAC (of master discs via Plextor Premium 52/32/52) >
Soundforge v4.5a > shntool v2.0.3 > frontend v1.7.1
Source Notes: The only out on the SBD was the mono 1/4" out.
Once I had the images on my hard drive I used Soundforge
to copy the left channel into the previously empty right
channel. Additionally the tapes do get a little hot
in some places. There is a small cut in the crowd banter
after the Boatman, then a tape flip during the cheering
before the encore started (which I removed). The discs
had been created back in 2000 (and the master cassettes
long since passed on) and had been collecting dust since.
I recently (Nov. '04) decided to offer this additional
source of this show because I made a tape. Sharing it
only seemed natural. There is an AKG 481>D-Mic 20 source
for the soundcheck and the first set and a Schoeps
cmc64>V2>DA-P1 (essentially onstage) of the second set.
