TO THE TRADE

In presenting our annual trade list for 1900, we desire to thank our customers for their very liberal patronage and are respectfully soliciting a continuance of the same. Our terms are strictly cash with the order. Our prices are as low as good stock can be grown for, and we cannot afford the risk and expensa of credits. Please send money by draft or post-office money order, made payable at Colma, Cal. No plants sent C, O. D. unless one-fourth of the amount is sent with the order.

Orders for rooted cuttings of carnations or chrysanthemums for a future date are allowed five per cent, discount, provided one-fourth the amount is sent with the order, though the order must be sent not less than sixty days prior to the date of shipment. No charge will be made for packing.

We exercise the greatest care to have all plants true to name, and to fill orders correctly. Should errors occur, please notify us at once, and we will make such corrections as will be satisfactory.

After delivery to forwarders in good condition, all goods travel at customer's risk, and complaints will not be entertained unless made promptly upon receipt of goods.

We wappant all cuttings that ape gpown and sold by us, to be in healthy gpowing condition and fpee fpom any disease whatevep, but we do not wap- pant any cuttings to pemain free of disease aftep they have passed fpom oup cape, nop do we assume any pesponsibility whatevep pegapding the pup- ehasep's success in cultivating the plants.

CARNATIONS.

OUR CUTTINGS are rooted cool and taken from plants that were not forced in excessive heat. Prices quoted are for rooted cuttings. Plants from flats or 2^- inch pots, $i.oo for loo extra. Prices quoted do not include transportation charges. If shipment is desired by mail, or prepaid express, add ten cents per loo for cuttings, and twenty-five cents per loo for plants.

THE MARQUIS.

True pink, soft and rich; form exceptionally perfect, of the very largest size; stems strong. 2 to 3 feet, fragrant, keeps well, very free, a continuous bloomer. Cuttings ready March to April. 52.00 per 12; Sio per 100.

OLYMPIA.

The finest of all new Carnations for 1930. A beautiful clear glossy white with delicate penciling of clear scarlet. Keeping qualities are unsurpassed, very productive, it is free from disease of any kind. S2.00 per 12; |i2.oo per 100.

EDWARD SCHWERIN.

This is a California novelty of ^reat merit. The flowers average 3 to iuches, are well formed with heavy petals. The color is a very fine pink shade, a trifle darker than Melba, just the color the storemen like. The stem is 2 to 3 feet long and supports the flowers nicely. Very fragrant, good producer, strong and healthy constitution.

None but strong and well-rooted cuttings will be sent out by the introducers. Ready February 15th. Orders filled in rotation.

VARIEGATED

El Dorado Best paying yellow variety, light clear yellow, edged with narrow band of light pink, a vigorous, very healthy grower, very free bloomer, producing blooms on extra long erect stems. This variety will be free of rust, if grown under glass through summer. If grown outside, this variety is liable to get rust, which, however, will disappear under proper treatment in the greenhouse. $2.00 per 100; $15 per 1000.

Eulalie— Color, light yellow, penciled with light pink, very free blooming, long stiff" stems, large flowers; a fine fancy variety. $3.00 per 100.
