CONCERNING OUR PRICES The prices named in this list are for first-quality bulbs and plants, properly packed and delivered to the Express or Freight of- fice in Deerfield, free of all charges for packing or cartage. Express or freight charges for transportation, must however, be paid by the purchaser. SHIPPING The opinion is prevalent that plants and bulbs can be sent cheaply by Parcel Post, but such is not the case. The rates of the Express companies have lately been reduced, and it is not only quick- er and safer to send packages through them but almost invariably cheaper also. We shall, therefore, ALWAYS SHIP BY EXPRESS unless we have positive orders to the contrary, and we guarantee the safe delivery only on packages so shipped. In those instances where our customers make special request that their goods be sent by Parcel Post we will do so provided suf- ficient postage is, remitted. 6 or more of any one kind of bulbs or plants offered in this price list will be sold at the dozen rate, an 1 25 or more at the 100 rate. Purchasers please state whether goods shall be shipped by freight or express. On orders amounting to $5.00 or more, 5 per cent may be de- ducted when money accompanies the order.
