No. of Trees, etc., per Acre — Divide the number of square feet in an acre, 43,560, by the number of square feet given to each plant, which is found by multiplying the distance between the plants by the distance between the rows, thus — trees 30 feet apart each way would occupy 30 x 30 — 900 square feet, which divided into 43,560, gives us 48 trees per acre.
