GRADES
We grade carefully. In some cases by caliper and others by height. When by both, the caliper must govern. The lower number is included, but the higher number excluded. For in- stance, in a grade of 4 to 5 feet trees, 4 feet trees are included, but 5 feet trees go into the next grade higher, and likewise when calipered. If plump 5 feet trees are wanted, the order must be from five to six feet.
When desired, we will send samples.
Use the “Nurseryman’s Telegraphic Code” in telegraphing.
We pack all stock in the most thorough manner, for which a moderate charge (sufficient to cover cost) will be made. Boxes packed and paper-lined will be charged as follows:
30 in. square, 9 to 10 ft. long, at $3.00 each. 20 in. square, at $1.50 to $1.75 each.
24 in. square, at $2.00 to $2.50 each Bales at from 25 cents to $1.00 each.
All shipments travel at cost and risk of purchaser.
Guarantee. — We use the greatest care possible to have our stock true to name in all in- stances, and should any prove not true, we stand ready to replace it free of charge or to refund the purchase price, but do not hold ourselves liable to other damages than are herein named, and all our sales are made with this understanding.
