CASH or salisl'actory reference, with sufficient time to investigate before shipment, is invariably required of parties unknown to us. To responsible, prompt paying parties, we will extend usual time for payment.

SHIPMENTS When ordering, please slate plainly whether freight or express shipment is desired, and give route if by freight. In the absence of this information we will use our best judgment without assuming any responsibility as to delivery. Goods are at purchaser’s risk and cost after delivering to the forwarding company. Under the new Parcel Post system we are often able to forward small packages for less than the rates charged by express companies. Parties desiring to secure the benefits of Parcel Post should in- clude sufficient for postage in their remittances; the difference, if any, will be refunded promptly.

GUARANTEE We are very careful to keep each variety true to name as labeled, and are ready at any time to replace, on proper proof, any that may prove otherwise, free of charge, or refund the amount paid, but it is mutually agreed between the purchaser and ourselves that we shall at no time be liable for an amount larger than the original purchase price.

No charge for bags, boxes or barrels for seeds.

Heeds 5 pounds at ten pound rates; 25 pounds at ICO pound rates. Uoxinir and baling at cost.. If cash accompanies order in full no chaj-ge for l)oxingor packing if order.s amount to SlO. or more Trees and Shrubs— 500 at 1,000 rate, 5,000 at 10,CC0 rate.

SHRUBS

Amorpha Frnticosa. Comnion False Indigo. A tall native shrub of very easy cultivation, blooming freely in June.

The violet spikes are crowded in termi- nals. Of rapid growth.

At,THHAf or Rose of Sharon.

These are grand flowering shrubs. There is a wide range of color, and not a day from the middle of July until September a time when so few other shrubs are in bloom that Altheas are not aglow with flowers. They ha\e no insect enemies, grow well anywhere, are splendidly suited for shrubbery borders, for colony plantings and hedges. The planter who uses them freely makes no mistake.
