A new and most promising variety. Tree commen- ced bearing in 1911 with acrop of 10 nuts averaging 49 to the pound. Subsequent crops have been as follows-:

1912 — 160 nuts 40 to the pound.

1914 — 395 nuts 43 to the pound.

1914—1584 nuts 36 to the pound.

In a grove this variety has proved more productive than Success, Stuart, Van Deman, Bolton, Pabst, Frots- cher, or Jerome; and has been equaled only by Money- maker.

A paper shell variety that fills well.

While surrounded by other varieties which have show considerable disease, particularly scab, it has shown only slight susceptibility to these diseases.

Not as susceptible to the case bearer as most other varieties such as Stuart, Frotscher, Nelson and Pabst.
