Our business has increased ever since we started, and has been built up by strictly honorable methods. Good quality, satisfied customers and the natural sequence of the pleased customers recommending their friends and neighbors to try our seeds, are responsible for this result. We much appreciate what our customers do for us and will do all in our power to merit their confidence. The varieties of VEGETABLE SEEDS offered by us are limited to those which in our opinion, are the best suited to the SOILS and CLIMATE of this Southern country, keeping before our patrons the good old reliable sorts, which, if not novel, can be depended on; for in the end it is results that are wanted, not so much novel varieties; any novelty, however, we may come across which proves to have merits for our country, wall be added to our list at once. We regret that we are unable to furnish the usual larger catalogue or Manual but we were dis- appointed this season by the printery net fulfilling its contract. Inasmuch as our catalogues have been more explicit than this pamphlet, neverthe- less we always avoid all exaggerated descriptions and overdrawn illustrations. We aim to let you know what to expect at harvest, our claims are most conservative. From our long experience in this Southern country (amounting to more than 35 years) we are enabled to know what seeds are best suited to our soils and climate, than others who do not know our conditions. We will be glad to give you full information, advice or suggestions at any time. You are free to ask, without obligation to buy. We wish to remain, Yours respectfully, LEHMANN’S SEED STORE.
