NOW IS THE PROPER TIME TO PLANT AN ORCHARD. WHY?
The following figures taken from a bulletin issued by the Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, June 27, 1921, indicates a decline in orchard planting and also a shortage in bearing orchards. What is true of the apple and peach is doubtless true of other fruits in proportion.

Our prices are not the lowest but our stock is of the best. BE CAREFUL OF NURSERY STOCK AT LOW PRICES. In nearly all cases it is inferior stock, poorly graded, and the low price was an in- ducement to get you to take it. It takes years to find out you have been handed a lemon. This doesn’t pay as the difference in price for gooO, guranteed trees will be forgotten long before the trees come to bearing age.

ROSES
When you buy our Roses you get with them per- manent satisfaction. This satisfaction is based on the fact that our Roses are grown on OWN ROOTS. They grow and bloom, year in and year out. If you want the best, buy own-root roses, not budded plants which are unsatisfactory and short lived. Our selection is of the best.
