Nurseries NEW LOWER These Prices in Effect Sept. 1, 1923, and this Price List supersedes any other-printed list .previously issued. Prices subject to change without notice. SPECIAL ESTIMATES ON URGE ORDERS TERMS All cash with order — no exceptions, except - on orders of over 300 trees. On orders of 300 trees or more, to parties known to us to be reli- able and well-rated, we will accept one-fourth cash with order, remainder upon arrival. Customer pays transportation charges. Low Freight Rates Louisiana,^ Mo., is located •** on through main line rail- roads, North, ^ South, East and West, and is on St. Louis low freight basis. We can make surprisingly quick shipment to all parts of the United States. Small Orders Because of the increased cost of " - land, labor, implements, packing. etc., there is no profit on tree-orders for less than $5.00 Please try to make your Tree Order at least $5.00. Seed Orders of any size accepted. Non-Warranty 1^ the event that any nursery — stock or seeds sold by us should prove untrue to name under which it is sold, we hereby agree on proper proof of such untrueness to name to replace that portion of the order proven untrue to name, or to refund the purchase price thereof. Except for such liability, and in respect to all nursery stock or seeds sold by us, we give no warranty, express or implied, as to description, quality, growth, produc- tiveness or any other matter. — Stark Pro’s Nurseries & Orchards Co. Changes in Orders ^may be necessary to , make some changes in size and variety of trees and plants ordered, unless customer definitely states that it will not be permitted. Changes, if made, will be under the direction of our expert trained men and equal or superior sorts will be sent and labeled correctly. We have the largest and most complete stock of nursery trees in America, but because of the unprecedented shortage and the greatest demand we have ever ex- perienced, some sorts will doubtless sell out early. We do not replace nursery stock that fails to* live. Possible neglect of planter and unavoidable cljihatic conditions prevent guaranteeing trees, plants and se'eds to grow. We deliver the stock to transporta- tion company in good condition; our responsibility ends there. If the stock is damaged in transit, claim for damages should be promptly made on transporta- tion company. Non-delivery of stock is excused in case of fire, frost, floods, drouth, strikes, shortage of nursery stock or seeds, or other causes beyond seller’s control. Very Large Planters Should Submit List of Stock and Permit Us to Quote Complete Price on Entire Order Parcel Post Orders can ship 2 to 3 ft. size trees by parcel post. Add (Ib) cents to the 2 to 3 ft. price of each tree and this stock will come to you by mail postpaid. We can also ship grapevines, berry plants and small size Ornamentals in the same manner — prices are 5 cents more than listed. However, we prefer ex- press s^nd freight shipments for trees, except for those far removed from railroads.
