INTRODUCTORY

TO PARTICULAR PLANTERS:

The Ordway Seed & Farm, Company was in-
corporated about a year ago by Mr. E. E. Hosier,
who for the past fifteen years has supplied a par-
ticular trade with Cantaloupe Seed. He has con-
fined his trade to a few large shippers who require
several thousand pounds of cantaloupe seed annual-
ly, and who appreciate the value of really good
seed.

From the highly satisfactory results with this
trade Mr. Hosier became advertised until he re-
ceives many inquiries each year for various
amounts of vine seeds. Mr. Hosier organized the
Ordway Seed & Farm Company to take care of this
demand, and no order is too large or too small to
receive our most careful attention. Ordway is lo-
cated in the Arkansas River Valley, fifty miles
east of Pueblo and tv/elve miles north of Rocky
Ford, being in one of the best vine growing dis-
tricts in the world.

It is our policy to sell only seed of our own
growing and if out of stock we will not substitute
or purchase on the market to fill your order; but
will inform you where you may secure reliable
seed. We will purchase for you if so requested.
We grow a very complete line of melon, cucumber,
squash, pumpkin, pea and bean seed, and will
welcome inquiries regarding varieties not listed in
this catalog.

pressly for you. We will safeguard the quality and
purity of your seed in every possible manner, and
