GENERAL NOTES
Occasionally we hear of a failure in the llowering results in Ciladioli. There must be a reason, and more often it is on account of shallow planting on outside stock. Have your rows at least 2 feet apart to allow the sunlight to penetrate. Select a good piece of land, not a gravel heap oi a small marsh. Plant your bulbs 5 or 0 inclu's de('i), throwing back about three inches of soil. As soon as th(\y break through the ground, give them a to]) dressing of shec]) manure and then about two to three inches more soil. Deej) ])lant- ing with pro])er fei’tilization will give you stronger si)ikes, straight stems and sufficient moisture. Try Cogger’s way this year as an exi)eriment. As your success in producing good blooms means recommendation for my bulbs, where failure, many times, means a dissatished customer.
Yours for better Glads,
