GLADSTONE — Large pure dazzling white blos¬ soms with yellow heart. $1.50

COMANCHE — This is the most beautiful of the sunset colors, very brilliant and glowing. The plant is strong in growth and has a long bloom¬ ing season. $2.50

Lilies
Tropical waterlilies are so beautiful that every pool should have at least one. They are worth the purchase price many times over in the joy they give. The blooms rise out of the water on tall stems, and are most lovely and very fragrant and colorful.
The bulbs can be lifted and stored in damp sand and planted in the pool when warm settled weath¬ er comes in spring. They bloom until frost.
PANAMA-PACIFIC — A splendid variety having large reddish purple flowers with yellow centers. New plants are formed on the leaves, and often bloom, being minature replicas of the larger flowers. $2.00
MRS. GEORGE H. PRING.— This is a grand lily,
being pure white with yellow center. Very fragrant and a good cut flower. $2.00
MRS. C. W. WARD — Deep rose pink and a most beautiful lily, always attracting attention. Very large flowers, on extra long stems. Good cut flower. $2.00

1 . A water tight pool, preferably cement, 1 8 to 24 inches deep, in full sun if possible. Lotus do well in shade.
2. Very rich soil. Place well decayed cow manure in the boxes 3 or 4 inches deep, cover with good garden soil and 1 inch of sand.
3. Give the plants plenty of room. Make boxes 18 to 24 inches square, 10 to 12 inches deep for i or 2 lilies.
4. Gold fish or Mosquito fish to keep mosquitos down; snails and oxygenating plants.
5. Do not keep changing the water. Run in enough to keep proper level as water evaporates.
