ARISTOCRATS

OF THE

GERANIUM FAMILY

A typical 21i" Geranium plant from among the “Aristocrats, and a rooted cutting from our greenhouses.

What A difference in geraniums grown right and those that are grown without thought of the final effect or satisfaction to the customer who plants them in his favorite spot for the summer season!

To have satisfactory plants one must start way back and select his stock for color, pro¬ ductiveness of bloom, healthy foliage, and they must be constantly “rogued.” But, what sat¬ isfaction to receive a hundred, a thousand or ten thousand and have each plant look just like every other, and when they bloom to have the color even, the foliage as it should be, and the whole plant a joy to behold!

Look at the photo on the opposite page of 21/4" plants and rooted cuttings. This is our interpretation of the meaning of 21/i" and cuttings when ready for shipment. It is the kind of plants you expect and should receive for your good money. Note the sturdiness which can only be produced by proper hand¬ ling and growth under the right conditions.

Why buy unknown quality when such plants as these, with a reputation back of them are on the market? All plants shipped out of our place must be “standard’’ as to size and root system for each pot size quoted. Hence if you buy 21/4", 3" or 4" you expect and get plants that are standard, not a 4" plant that ought to be grown another month in a 3" pot. What a lot of us have had this experience! But did we buy of that party again?
