The Helianthus cucumerifolius varieties are besides the double flowersd Cantus Dahlia undoubtediy of first ratik for cut flowers. and therefore unequaled for Aorist and dekorative purposes as; well as for solitary plants. By rigorous selection I liave obtained several varieties which in regard to elegance of. form, size and shape of flower differs most advantageoüsly from one another. The Growth of the Plant is of elegant pyraniidal compact form, vigourous ramnification meaburing about 30 inches uiameter. The height differs according to the variety. s These Helianthus varieties are especially remarkable for their rieh prdfusion of flowering. Each plant bears in average ->.~v80;to 100 pure golden yellow flowers with black centre, born on long erect stalks above the dark green foliage, blooming from Jone until late in autumn.
