HAolmes’ SUPERIOR SEED CORN

Wonder 25 Here is indeed a won- derful Corn. We think

it is the grandest corn ever produced. Big ears, long, 18 to 22 rows of deep grain. The foliage is very dark green, and retains this color when the ears ripen. As to heat and drought resistance, it is not surpassed by any other. It’s borer resistant. Its strong stalk and good roots make it stand best of all. It is adapted to a wide range of soils from poor to high and for northern states where yields have been consistently very high. Matures medi- um early, 100 days. We highly recommend that you grow a crop of this our Wonder 255. Large flat kernels. Bu., $12.00; 2 bus., $23.50

HOLMES’ EARLY 90-DAY. Here is a Corn we can very highly recommend. The ears average 12 inches ‘long. The Corn is a very bright golden yellow color. Grains deep and broad. Its cob is thin and the fodder averages 10 ft., with two fine ears on many stalks. It is an early Corn maturing in 90 days with normal growing weather. Our seed crop is extra fine. Not a Hybrid Corn: 2 lbs., 70c; pk. (14 lbs.), $2.00, postpaid. Not paid, bu., $6.00; bag (2 bus.) $11.50

Us S: 13. ONE OF THE OLD HYBRIDS. STILL.AS GOOD AS EVER. This hybrid is one of the very first kinds to be introduced and still without doubt the most popular of its class. It produces large ears, deep medium, starchy, soft grains; a sturdy stalk which stands erect and is very disease resistant. The fine quality, rich looking ears have 20 to 22 rows of good deep grains of high feeding value.

Bu., $9.00; 2 bus., $17.50

HOLMES’ BIG GOLDEN. A wonderful silo filler.

Decidedly the largest and best yellow Corn to grow for leaves and ears. Stalks 12 to 14 ft. Ears 10 to 12

inches in length. Crop failed OHIO Ra 1 This hybrid is probably the HYBRID earliest maturing kind produc- ed in Ohio. It is especially well adapted in areas 1, 2 and 3 where it is an excellent yielder and most dependable. Many acres of this hybrid are grown in Michigan where, like northern Ohio, the seasons are very short. Large,

flat grade. Bu. $10.00; 2 bus., $19.50

OHIO KAS CORN BORER AND HYBRID BLIGHT RESISTANT

This is one of the new early hybrids which has outyield- ed most other kinds in its maturity class. It matures earlier and has outyielded K24 by 5 or 6 bu. per acre. It will stand well even late into the fall and is resistant to both leaf blight and Corn borer. The seed is hard to produce and thus the higher price. The increases in yield and resistance to disease is worth many dollars to you. Large flat grade. Bu. $10.00; 2 bus. $19.50 OHIO W6 This hybrid is making a repu- HYBRID tation for itself all over Ohio. The plant is a very stiff-stalked kind which is most re- sistant to root lodging. Ohio W64 has shown excellent resistance to both Corn borer and blight. It is worthy of all the dependence you care to put in it, produces results.
