UR ROSES are all grown where the soil is QO of a deep, alluvial nature, which is eonducive

to giving the plants a fine, vigorous root sys- tem, and also heavy, strong tops, well suited for retail trade.

The quotations named are net for stock at Fresno, California. Packing material additional.

These roses are tied in bundles of ten, and we would appreciate it if orders were made as far as possible in multiples of this number.

Sales will be made subject to stock being un- sold when order is received, with the understand- ing that if stock should become injured by frost, hail, fire or other causes beyond our control, the order will be void.

We exercise the greatest care in keeping all varieties true to name, but it is mutually agreed to between the purchaser and ourselves that we shall not at any time be liable for any amount greater than the original price of the stock.

Orders from unknown correspondents must be accompanied by remittance or satisfactory refer- ences.
