One of the most magnificent garden Iris ever introduced. The flowers are large, some measuring 8 to 10 inches across. They open fully and resemble the orchid. When cut in tight bud, they open beautifully in the house. The plants are per- fectly hardy. Our root divisions are strong and very generous.

Culture. September and October plantings are more sat- isfactory. Early spring plantings will not produce flowers until the following year, in most instances. They bloom dur- ing late June and early July. Do not use any lime.
