The “Bolgiano” Tomato A Wonder.

On September 17th, Mrs. F. F. Draine, of Char- lotte County, Va., wrote: “The ‘Bolgiano’ Tomato is a wonder. We are greatly pleased with the results. They required very little work and the fruit ripened _ about three weeks earlier than any other we had ever planted. The fruit is very solid, which makes it de- licious to eat, and it can be shipped or carried to market without being mashed. They are beautiful in shape, being round and smooth, with no rusty ridges on them and are nearly all about the same size. The vines are large and stout, which holds the fruit off the ground. We were gathering ripe fruit from them about the first of July. Since then we have been pick- ing continuously and have enough for both canning and for market. There are still a large quantity of ripe and green tomatoes on the vines.”

Well Pleased With “Glory.”

On August 14th, 1920, Mr. Antoine Besseti, of Sussex County, Del., wrote: “T am pleased with Bolgiano’s Glory Tomato. We bought a few seed for trial last year, and they grew fine and made big vines, which are as full as can be of large, fine toma- toes. J find them very fleshy and not watery, as most early tomatoes are. They have a soft, sweet flavor. They have done far better than any other tomatoes we planted. The weather has been very wet all year, and the rain has made them grow better, They are planted in heavy soil.”

The Most Wonderful Yielder.

On August 18th., 1920. Mr. Jos. W. Field, of Frank- lin County, Mass., wrote: “The ‘Bolgiano’ Tomato is the most wonderful yielder I have ever seen, with 16 or more tomatoes on one stem. The tomatoes are. a beautiful color and shape, and alnost as large as Hen- derson’s Ponderosa.”

Bolgiano’s French Grown Golden Self-Blanching Celery is of the most Superb Quality. Its crispness and tender- ness and its delightful rich, nutty, appetizing flavor makes it the leading variety in any market. The stalks are large, solid and a beautiful, rich golden yellow, entirely free from stringiness. It is an excellent keeper, stands ship- ment better than any other sort and brings the highest market prices.
