Again We Repeat e W hat’s in the Pot isn't Just Luck

This statement we made last year and we repeat it with double meaning this season.

In spite of these difficult times and generally upset conditions we are able to offer a wide and comprehensive selection of new and unusual varieties of bulbs, plants, and seeds as well as a substantial supply of the old favorites at the same time maintaining the rigid quality standards of Dreer.

It is a further satisfaction to us that we are able to make these offerings at our usual moderate prices.

The early buyers will have ‘‘luck in the pot” if they place their orders with Dreer. This “luck”? has been prepared for them by many months of careful and scientific work and planning aided by the accumulated knowledge and experience of more than a century—by men who know plants, who have made their development and culture a life study in the tradition of the business founded by Henry A. Dreer.

Products bearing the Dreer label enable you to buy with confidence and sell with confidence—a confidence founded on knowledge and experience.

DREER QUALITY BULBS

jor Florists

All Dreer bulbs have been carefully selected for size and vigor. They are bound to give entire satisfaction if grown properly. Naturally the price for these large bulbs is somewhat higher than that of smaller sizes, yet the difference is insignificant if one considers the chance taken by the grower who tries to get by with inferior stock.

10 Bearded Iris

Alta California. Holds its place as one of the most worthwhile and sensational Iris grown. It is the tallest of all the new yellow Iris and its branching qualifies it for “A” rating either as an individual stalk or as mass bloom. Yellow Iris have long been recognized as being the “spark” that brings out the fullest beauty of any Iris garden and Alta California serves this purpose to perfection. 48 inches.

Buechley’s Giant. Early. An Iris giant in size and height and one of the ten largest and best. Huge brilliant flowers of perfect form in a soft to medium blue effect. 50 inches.

William Mohr. Most orchid-like of all Iris, this un-

usual hybrid is the most distinct variety grown.

simply immense. The ground color is pale lilac,

standards flushed darker, the whole flower beautifully veined manganese-violet. Stems strong and rigid,

Three Outstanding Buddleias

Charming

A glorious shrub bearing throughout the late Summer and autumn elegant long sprays covered with lovely lavender-pink blooms which, compared with other Buddleias, are distinctly pink. For Sep- tember and October flowers we suggest pinching off the first flower spikes in July to aid in the develop- ment of the side branches which will bring a greater abundance of flowers during the autumn. Silver Medal by Penna. Horticultural Society. 2-inch pots, 18ce each; $15.0C per 100. Dubonnet A glorious color—a

counterpart of the popu- lar French wine Dubon- net and a shade now very popular in dress fabrics. Of erect growth, strong stemmed, with large leathery foliage, and a good late summer cutflower. 2-inch pots, 18c each; $15.00 per 100.
