INDEX OF YEAR BOOKS ees 19/72
INTRODUCTION
INDEX TO HEATHER SOCIETY YEARBOOKS 1963 - 1972
~ {| hope that this index will fulfil its object of providing a useful reference tool to the valuable information published in the Yearbooks over the past ten years. The attempt has been made to ensure that a - potential user may find a particular reference, whatever his angle of approach. However, if | have failed to anticipate a particular line, 1 can, now, only offer my apologies for such omissions.
‘Each yearbook is referred to by the last two digits of the year in which it was published, e.g. 1969 = (69). The photographs in each ‘issue have been treated as plates 1, 2, 3 & 4, e.g. referred to as (69) (pl. hy
This index only covers 9 yearbooks, for in 1968, a change of printer \led to publication being postponed from the December of that year until the March of the following year. Subsequently, the policy of ithe Society has been to issue the Yearbook by the end of each fin- aancial year.
