PRINCE & CO.,, FLUSHING, NEW YORK. We are now gradually winding up our extensive Nurseries, and we therefore offer great advantages to Nurseries requiring supplies, and equally good articles have never been offered at such moderate rates. This Catalogue comprises only such Trees and Shrubs as we actually possess and have ready for delivery, and is not made up, as many Nursery Catalogues are, with a mass of articles they never possessed; thereby causing only disappointment, vexation, and loss of time to ap- plicants. The spring season opens here quite early, and trees can be packed and for- warded during the moderate periods in Februar y, and throughout the month of March. We will forward packages by any Transportation Line or Express, &c., that may be designated, and will forward the receipt therefor to the purchaser, and there is consequently the best security for their delivery. We pack all articles in so secure a manner that they go to California, Oregon, South America, all parts of Europe, and every section of our own conntry, with perfect safety : and it is almost impossible for losses to occur, unless by the neglect of others. After having performed our duty in packing and forwarding, the goods are at the risk of the purchaser. Payments can be safely made by a check or draft, and where these are not to be had, remittances of bank notes can be made through the American Express, or Adams & Co., who will insure safe delivery if desired. We shall sell our trees for cash or notes that are made perfectly satisfactory by references and otherwise. and we may as well say at the outset, that in selling our stock at a sacrifice, we will not receive any donbtful Security. We desire those who want our trees, to write their letters plainly to the point, stating explicitly what articles they want, and how they wish to make the payments—by cash or otherwise; and if only part is offered in Per 100. $ cts. The Fruit Trees we offer are stocky and full-branched, they being grown in ample space, and our Pears on the Angers Quince stock, are “especially so; and not of the Currant-bush character, called trees in some nurseries; which, from being grown only a few inches apart, are, aS a consequence, weak and unbealthy. The same remarks will apply to our Ornamental Trees ; whereas a mass of spindling apologies called trees, are continually hawked throughout the country, they being too worthless to command any sale at home. When orders are sent for Fruit Trees in quantity, we expect them to comprise a fair average assortment; the purchaser can send a list of names suiliciently extensive, designating which he prefers having the most of, and we will execute the order as nearly as possible, sending more or less of each as convenient. Asa rule, we propagate far the most of theleading and best known varieties. Conditions,—Purchasers are entitled to the trees at the annexed prices, only when the quantity specified is ordered. When smaller quantities are wanted, they will be supplied to the Trade, ata discount from our General Catalogue prices, in proportion to the extent of the order. Facilities for Transportation.—The means of transportation from New York (whence we expedite all packages), to all parts of the Union, are more frequent and rapid than from any other point, and it reqnires but 18 hours by railroad to Dunkirk or Buffalo, on Lake Erie. N. B.—0rders should be directed to us at Flushing, and sent per mail. TREES. Per dozen.| Per 100. $ cts. $ cts.
