AZALEA VISCOSA.

COR EMA CONRAD II.

An exceedingly rare and distinct Pine Barren shrub

NEW TO CULTIVATION.

This is one of the rarest of the Pine Barren shrubs, occuring only in a few isolated localities, and has never beer brought into general cultivation. The original locality discovered by Conrad and also that discovered by Rafinesque, have been destroyed. We have recently found a new locality where some very fine young plants can be collected.

Corema Conradii isavery distinct shrub growing about two feet high, and much branched, spreading on the ground. The fol- iage is short, needle shaped and evergreen. The flowers area delicate shade of purple produced in tufts at the ends of the branches early in spring, Fine plants with ball of earth, $10 per 100; without ball$6 per Ioo.

AFATHA VISCOSA. A SPLENDID STOCK OF NURSERY GROWN PLANTS.

We have to offer this season a fine stock of two year trans- planted Azalea viscosa. They are low bushy plants with abundant fibrous roots. This Azalea hasso much real merit that it should be used extensively. It is one of the hardiest species, blooms very freely and is deliciously fragrant.
