TERMS. EFC.

PRICES named in this Trade List apply only to
orders placed by nurserymen, florists and dealers.

PACKING. All goods are carefully packed in
boxes or bales, for which we make a charge sufficient
to cover cost of material used. Please state whether
goods are to be shipped by express or freight and
name route. After delivering to forwarders, all
articles are entirely at the risk of the purchases,
and if any loss or delay occurs, the forwarders alone
must be held responsible.

CLAIMS, if any, must be made immediately upon
receipt of goods, when they will be carefully exam-
ined, and if just, made satisfactory.

TERMS. We offer the usual terms to those of
known responsibility but must have satisfactory
business references from others or cash must accom-
pany order. Those desiring stock shipped by express
Cc. O. D. will please remit one-quarter the amount
of their purchase when ordering.

LINING=OUT
STOCK

We are certainly proud of our Lining Out Stock
and believe you will be pleased with it also. Our
sales last season were the best we have ever had and
sold out of some varieties early in the season. We
are offering several new items this season and nearly
twice as many plants as we had to offer last season;
some varieties we can furnish several thousands of
while of others our stock is small. Nearly all of ©
this stock has been one or more times transplanted.
That which has not been is designated by the letter
S which signifies that it is a seedling.

Practically all our Lining Out stock is grown un-
der overhead irrigation. It would have been almost
impossible to carry it alive through the drouth of the
past summer. We kept our pumps going day and night
and as a result we have the finest lot of Lining Out
stock that we have ever grown.

We have a good many items which we do not have
sufficient stock of to offer this season but if you can
visit us you might find just the ones that you are
anxious to secure, so come and select the stock while
here. See it for yourself.

We know our stock is nice and believe our prices
are reasonable. We shall try to furnish you a little
better than you expected to get, if you will let us
have your order.

PEONIES

AT VERY ATTRACTIVE PRICES

For Fall shipment we will have to offer the largest
stock of Peonies that we have ever grown. The
PRICES WILL BE VERY ATTRACTIVE as we want
to move a lot of this stock this season. We have
about 200 varieties to offer in the standard three to
five eye divisions. Can also furnish about 100 of
these varietis in one-year plants. Regular price list
will be issued about June 1st but will be glad to
quote on your list at any time.

We can also furnish Peonies for spring delivery.

ARIAKE. Single, light pink, very large flowers.

FUGENZO. Very good, light pink, very large, double
flowers, coppery bronze foliage. Blooms with Kanzan. This
variety is more widely planted than any of the others with the
exception of Kanzan. A very popular variety at Potomac Park,
Washington. D. C.

GOLDEN GATE PARK WEEPING. Very strong grower,
pyramidal type of Weeping Cherry. One of the very best. It
keeps growing up and droops as it grows, does not flatten out
like the old type. The flowers are much darker than any other
type. When in bloom it looks like a house on fire.

GYOIKO. Semi-double, creamy white with greenish stripes.
HISAKURA. Light pink, double, early and very dainty.

JUGATSU-ZAKURA. Early, double, light pink, blooms in
fall and spring. One of the best. Makes a round headed tree.

KANZAN (KWANZAN). With no exception the best, double
dark pink almost red. Flowers come ahead of the leaves, which
are coppery bronze. Flowers are like Baby Cecil Brunner
roses, but darker pink. Tree is a very good grower.

MINAKAMI. Single, white flowers, fragrant.

MIYAKO. Light pink, immense double flowers borne in
great clusters. Considered one of the best. All buds do not
open at the same time, so the tree is in bloom over a long period
of time. It is a medium sized tree.

SENRIKO. Single, large flowers, pink in bud, white when
open.

SHIDARE-HIGAN. (Weeping). Single, light pink, early.
Also called Eureka Weeping.

TAIZANFUKUN. Upright tree, strong grower, very double,
light pink flowers that come out a little ahead of the leaves. It
is a beauty to behold. Leaves are dark green and glossy.

TAKINIOI. Single and semi-double, buds pink, flowers
white, fragrant.

TAZANFUKUN. Upright tree, strong grower, very double,
light pink flowers that come out a little ahead of the leaves.
Very beautiful. Leaves are dark green and glossy.

YEDO-ZAKURA. Medium size, double pink, late.

YOSHINO. Strong growing tree of spreading habit. 35 to
45 feet in height. Single flowers, slightly fragrant, light pink
and appear before the leaves. It is a popular variety in the
City of Tokyo, Japan. When this cherry blooms the Japanese
people have a national holiday to see the Cherry blossoms.

We are located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland,
about sixty miles south of Dover, Del. and can be

Control Red Spider With
Derrisol

Red Spider on evergreens and other plants and have

The Weather

The past season has been a hard one on nursery
stock in nearly all sections of the country on account
of the extreme dry weather. We were fortunate in
having overhead irrigation with plenty of water from
driven wells for all our lining-out stock, which con-
sists of around six acres in frames and beds, as a
result we never had nicer lining-out stock than we
now have to offer. We were not so fortunate with
our specimen stock. However the greatest loss was
in not getting the desired growth, but by cultivation
every week to ten days we kept a dust mulch and
with the few rains we did have we came through the
season pretty well.

us your order and we know it will please you. It
must. If it is not right we make it right.
