I went ahead and unchecked the box, hit update, then went back and put a check back in.... I'll look back tomorrow to see if it worked.

Regarding this statement - when you click update, your request to make the rules.conf file goes into a queue with all the other requests. This can take anywhere between 2 and 10 minutes before the request has been completed and the check "sticks". When it comes time for your request, the update needs to find all the download servers that have the show in question (it runs a search), create the rules.conf file and write CAT.lossy inside of it.

This is why you don't see that check "stick" immediately after doing it. If you check it, wait 10 minutes and come back to it you should see it stick.
