I just made some changes to the import page. Your files (in addition to the top level directory, which was all that used to be checked), must adhere to our the Archive's naming convention (only permitted characters are A-Z, a-z, 0-9, _, -, and .). The page won't let you import any recordings that have files that violate this convention.
Thanks for helping maintain the integrity and readability of files for the future.
Hopefully this isn't a pain for anyone - it's just that spaces, punctuation, and other characters violate the RFC for URIs and the URLs therefore break, causing 404s and other errors.
