LOS ANGELES, CAL.,

U. S. A.

X0t«OOt«MOHOtXXXXOi)Oi«t«()O(«tj

Presented to the L. H. Bailey Hortorium
by the Missouri Botanical Garden, 1972,

T HE beneficial effect, of California sunshine is well known, and
since we are installing a more complete system of irrigation
this year on land particularly well adapted to Seed growing,
we hope to fill our contracts to the satisfaction of our customers.

Small Flower Seeds will be a special feature with us in the
future, and we are offering them in greater variety this year.

TERMS — All prices quoted on basis of f. o. b. California, and
forwarded at best possible rates.

Flower and Vegetable Seeds 2 per cent on receipt of goods;
60 days net; Beans sight draft against E h All overdue accounts
subject to sight draft without further notice.

Seamless bags and all containers charged at cost.
NON-WARRANTY — We exercise the greatest care in growing
and harvesting our Seeds, roguing our crops under personal super
vision, to the best of our ability, true to name, and send out noth-
ing but what we believe will give satisfaction. It must, however,
be expressly understood that we warrant neither description,
growth nor productiveness of any Seeds we deliver, nor will we
hold ourselves responsible for the crop raised from any of the
Seeds we grow.

If our goods are not accepted on these terms they must be re-
turned at once.

Our Seeds have now been selling on their merits for the past
eighteen years, and by observing the steadily increasing demand
we believe they have given general satisfaction, but should any
variety not have been as represented, we hope our patrons will
acquaint ns therewith.

Very respectfully,

JOHN BODGER & SONS CO.

SWEET PEAS.

The small crop last year, with two poor seasons prior, and the
extra cost of producing this crop, has made it imperative that we
ask our patrons for a better price, especially on the Grandiflora
varieties. These conditions are not local, but throughout the
State; therefore, we trust you, will find our prices as low as any
reliable grower on the Coast.
