CCERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION oF NurRSERY STOCK: 


This is to certify that the stock in the Nursery of Rakestraw & Pyle, of Kennett 
Square, County of Chester, State of Pennsylvania, was duly examined in compliance 
with the provisions of the act of Legislature of Pennsylvania, approved the 10th day 
of June, A. D., 1901, and it was found to be apparently free from San Jose Scale, and 
other dangerously injurious insect pest or pests. 

_ This certificate expires July 31st, 1907.

NOTICE TO PURCHASERS. 


This list is intended for Nurserymen, Florists and Dealers only, and supersedes 
all previous quotations. 

We use the greatest care to have our stock reliable and true to name, and will 
on proper proof, replace anything that may not prove true to name. Wedo not 
give any warranty. It is mutually agreed between the purchaser and ourselves, 
that we shall not at any time be held responsible from any cause for more nae the 
original cost of the trees. 


TERMS. 


Invariably cash, except expressly agreed otherwise. Packing will be done ip 
the best mainer, in bales or boxes, at the cost of the purchaser, but no charge for 
delivering the goods at the railroad. All orders to be sent C. O. D. must be accom- 
panied with one-half the amount in cash. 

All articles, after leaving our hands in good condition, are entirely at the risk of 
the purchaser, and no complaint will be allowed, unless made within ten days after 
receipt of goods. 


LOCATION. 


Our office is situated 2 miles north of KennettStation, on the P. & B.C. R. R., 
and is forty miles west of Philadelphia. We also have connection with the Phila- 
delphia and Reading, and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroads.
