AprIAN, Micn., January 27, 1912.

When you are ready to arrange for your 1912 crop of Tomato Seeds, kindly send

me a list of your requirements.
I shall be pleased to quote you my lowest prices.

The remarkable superiority of my stocks is well known by most seedsmen who want the
best of everything. I restrict the volume of my business so that I may give to the whole

that personal attention needed to secure the best results.

I maintain a stock seed department where careful
and systematic effort is made to maintain purity and im-
prove the desirable characteristics of the strains. The
stock seeds used are really pedigreed strains. No better
can be secured anywhere at any price.

Last year I planted my Sparks’ Earliana by the side
of a claimed superior so-called strain sold at an extrava-
gant price. Under exactly thesame conditions as to soil,
treatment and season, mine produced a week earlier and
was far better in shape, size, color and productiveness.

I have original methods for keeping seed pure and
true to name.

As the seed business is founded on faith in the in-
tegrity of the individual, I try to view a transaction
from the standpoint of the buyer, and never, for any
temporary gain, abuse his confidence.

I do no re-contracting. Each variety is grown in its
own locality and washed and cured separately. Con-
sequently stocks are standard and uniform.

The varieties grown this

year will be:

SPARK’S EARLIANA,
CHALK’S BARLY JEWBL,
EARLY MICHIGAN,
ACME,

BEAUTY,

STONE,
PERFECTION,
PARAGON,
FAVORITE,

ROYAL RED,
MATCHLESS,
IMPROVED TROPHY,
