SECTION HOME OF THE MAMMOTH GRAPE
G. H. POE, Kenton, Hardin Co., Ohio
Introductory
Quality and Prices. I do not claim to furnish the cheap-
est vines in the world, but I do claim that no better or health-
ier vines are grown anywhere than are produced here in the
Scioto valley. My prices are as reasonable as can be made for
high class stock, and I believe are as low as other reliable
firms. An inferior vine is dear at any price. Vine planting in-
volves years of outlay, care and waiting, and no planter can
afford to handicap himself by beginning with inferior speci-
mens. A very slight difference in first cost may make a world
of difference in results. A safe rule is “Not the cheapest but
the best.”
Orders Should be sent in as early as possible, as I enter
them for shipment in the order received. When sent early be-
fore the rush begins, they are most sure of prompt attention.
Guarautee of Genuineness. Everything sent out will be
carefully labeled with its true name. Only experienced and
careful help will be used in putting up orders. I sell my stock
under a warranty that it is true to name and of quality rep-
resented with the express understanding and agreement that
should any not prove true to name, I will replace the same
without charge, but am not liable for damages other than
above named.
The Packing Season Usually opens here the 15th of April
and continues well into May. In the fall I begin the latter
part of {September, continuing through October and November.
Customers Are requested to notify me instantly of any
errors made in filling their orders, so that I may at once make
ample amends, as I desire to conduct my business in all re-
spects satisfactory to those who favor me with their orders.
