Our  nursery  was  established  over  72  years  ago  (1846),  and  incorporated  in  1892, 
and  continues  under  the  same  careful  management.  If  you  cannot  find  what  you  want 
in  this  price  list,  write  to  us.  We  aim  to  supply  all  trees  and  plants  adapted  to  this 
country.

York  Central  and  Lehigh  Valley.  South,  by  Lehigh  Valley  and  Penn.  Div.  of  New 
York  Central,  and  Penn.  R.  R.  via.  Canandaigua.  R.  &  E.  Trolley  to  Rochester. 

EXPRESS  COMPANIES.  The  American  Express  Company  gives  good  service. 
Also  local  trolley  to  Rochester. 

TERMS  OF  SALE 

THESE  ARE  THE  UNIFORM  TRADE  TERMS  OF  THE  AMERICAN 
ASSOCIATION  OF  NURSERYMEN 

All  bills  payable  net  sixty  days  from  date  of  invoice  with  discount  2%  ten  days,  1% 
thirty  days. 

Late  fall  shipments  intended  for  spring  trade,  June  1st,  net  or  4%  discount  thirty 
days  from  date  of  invoice. 

For  cash  in  advance  a  3%  cash  discount  is  allowed. 

All  wholesale  prices  are  for  goods  in  nursery,  packing  extra,  t 

PRICES.  Are  limited  to  Spring,  1918,  and  supersede  all  previous  lists  and  are 
subject  to  change  without  notice. 

CAUTION.  We  accept  all  orders  upon  condition  that  they  shall  be  void  should 
injury  befall  stock  from  frost,  fire,  hail  storms  or  other  causes  over  which  we  have  no 
control. 

GRADES.  We  grade  carefully;  in  some  cases  by  caliper;  in  others  by  height. 
When  graded  by  both  caliper  and  height,  the  caliper  must  govern. 

CLAIMS.  No  claims  for  rejections  or  deficiencies  will  be  entertained  unless  made 
within  ten  days  after  arrival  of  goods. 

PACKING  will  be  done  in  the  best  possible  manner,  and  charged  for  at  the  cost  of 
material  used.  Boxes  and  bales  delivered  free  of  charge  to  all  railway  stations. 
After  goods  are  delivered  to  forwarder  in  good  condition  our  responsibility  ceases. 

UNKNOWN  CORRESPONDENTS  must  accompany  their  orders  with  cash  or 
satisfactory  reference. 

GUARANTY.  VSHbile  we  exercise  the  greatest  care  to  have  our  trees  and  plants 
true  to  label,  and  hold  omselves  prepared  to  replace,  on  proper  proof,  all  that  may 
prove  untrue,  we  do  not  give  any  warranty  expressed  or  implied,  and  in  case  of  any 
error  on  our  part,  it  is  mutually  agreed  between  the  purchaser  and  ourselves  that  we 
shall  not  at  any  time  be  held  responsible  for  a  greater  amount  than  the  original  price 
of  the  trees.
