We are enclosing copy of our contract offer, quoting prices for
i
next fall and winter delivery, subject to usual contract conditions.'' |
We have made our prices as low as we feel good stocks can b^
produced and contracts placed with the best and most realiable growers in
favorable localities, insuring good deliveries in so far as possible.
The prices quoted for Sweet Corn are for re-cleaned and
carefully handpicked stocks, and wish to advise we do not slight the
quality in order to reduce the expense, but maintain the quality of our
stock regardless of expense. The same will apply to our handpicked stock
of Field Corn and the cleaning of Vine Seed.
The Vine Seed require a large amount of hand labor so that we
are obliged to pay good farmers high prices in order to get them to
contract. The farmers generally this season are going to devote a large
part of their acreage to grass and clover and other forage crop, so that
it will be necessary for us to receive contract orders early to place
our acreage to the best advantage.
Hoping to be favored with your esteemed order in the near
future so that we can place our acreage v;ith the best growers.
