TO  OUR  PATRONS 

We  have  carefully  arranged  prices  in  this  list  for  each,  ten,  and 
one  hundred  lots,  so  as  to  be  fair  to  both  the  small  and  large  purchaser. 

Prices  are  for  regular  grade  of  No.  1 stock  of  size  specified.  We 
reserve  the  privilege  of  charging  extra  for  stock  personally  selected  by 
customer,  or  for  trees  of  extra  heavy  caliper,  for  scarce  sorts,  or  long 
list  of  varieties. 

One  to  ten  trees  or  plants  at  each  rate.  Ten  to  fifty  at  ten  rates. 
Fifty  or  more  at  one  hundred  rates. 

Stock  will  be  boxed,  baled  or  crated,  and  delivered  at  freight  or 
express  office  at  Painesville,  Ohio,  in  good  condition  without  extra  charge, 
purchaser  to  pay  freight  and  express  charges.  We  will  furnish  estimates 
on  freight  or  express  charges  when  requested.  Small  fruits  and  other 
plants  can  be  sent  by  mail,  in  which  case  the  postage  will  be  added  to 
bill.  Strawberry  plants  should  always  be  forwarded  by  express. 

We  have  aimed  to  give  description  of  size  and  grade  that  will  be 
easily  understood.  Would  be  pleased,  however,  to  give  any  further  infor- 
mation wanted  by  correspondence. 

We  are  growers  of  nursery  stock  with  thirty  years  experience  and 
have  over  two  hundred  acres  of  land  devoted  to  the  business.  We  have 
a large  modern  cellar  for  storage,  equipped  with  convenience  for  grading, 
packing  and  handling  nursery  stock  with  the  least  possible  exposure  and 
greatest  dispatch. 

List  of  varieties  and  prices  subject  to  change  to  conform  to  our  stock 
and  condition  of  trade  at  the  time  the  order  is  given. 

TIME  TO  PLANT 

Nursery  stock  can  be  shipped  and  planted  any  time  during  the  dor- 
mant season  from  October  1st  to  May  1st,  when  weather  is  favorable. 

RESPONSIBILITY. 

We  endeavor  to  send  our  patrons  the  grade  and  quality  of  stock 
ordered.  We  do  not  guarantee  our  products  or  assume  any  responsibility 
after  they  leave  our  nursery,  as  conditions  always  exist  over  which  we 
have  no  control.  It  is  understood,  in  case  of  error  on  our  part,  that  we 
shall  not  be  held  responsible  for  a greater  amount  than  the  price  paid. 

TERMS 

Two  per  cent,  discount  for  cash  with  order  or  before  shipment.  To 
parties  having  a satisfactory  credit  arrangement  or  account  with  us,  one 
per  cent,  ten  days  or  thirty  days  net.
