IMPORTANT.— -We exercise evei-y care to send out tree seeds true to
name. We cannot extend this guarantee to the result from sowing'
seeds of such varieties of conifers as “aurea, compacta, glauca, pendula.
pyramidalis, violacea. etc.” Our collectors are careful in gathering
the seeds from trees showing the peculiarities of the variety but the
seedlings will often revei’t to the mother form and as we have no way
of testing the seeds as to their producing true to variety, we send them
out without any warranty that they will come true any given percentage
to variety.
Trees and Shrubs
